Story Behind the Song
A few years ago I wrote a song about my hometown near "Langdorp" in Belgium, {"Long Village"}. It's a nostalgic song about my childhood, we went fishing and swimming in the river and the Lake! "Long before man destroyed the water and sand, we enjoyed the nature of "Long Village Lake" land. It's a pitty I couldn't go fishing there with my son, in the mean time al the fish has died ! You can guess why ?
This is a song about the important things we have lost ... will they ever come back?
I dedicate my song to all those people who are fighting to save the ichetucknee river.
I need to record this song again, 'cause the sound is not exactly how I planned it. In this case the message is important .... so enjoy it all !
