	Story Behind the Song For four years starting in 1985, I gave my family a cassette tape of songs I had written and recorded that year. In 1986, I wrote and recorded a song specifically for a Christmas present. Like the song says, "I could have gave you a trinket or two, but what good would that do? Before too long, a trinket is gone, but this song will always live on." So, in 2001, I have digitized it and preserved it for all time.
