	Story Behind the Song I had had the experience described in the song, where I saw a picture of myself as an adult and was startled to see the face of my mother when I was a little girl. I wrote part of the lyric and called my sister, Michele, with the idea. She's a fantastic songwriter and was intrigued with the idea, so we both set to work on it together. It was a joy to write - I have no idea how long it took because we were both having such a good time.
