	Story Behind the Song Two girls passed by me in the park one spring day and I overheard them arguing about how men view them as ideal images of angelic beauty and perfection. I heard one girl remark to her friend: "I ain't no virgin and my name ain't Mary"! I laughed out loud, but at the very same moment I thought, "Wow, now that sounds like a song to me!The whole writing process embarked from that point on right there in the park and I proceeded to write the entire song - verses, chorus and bridge, music, lyrics and chords all in one day, in just a matter of a few hours. Recording it took several days since the instrumental tracks had to be laid down first. I recorded my vocals - lead and backgrounds in about 3 or 4 takes in between slices of cold pizza and sips of warm beer!
