	Story Behind the Song I wrote this in honor of my parents 50th wedding anniversary. It celebrates their committment to each other through "better or worse, sickness and health" and the joy of having their children and grandchildren present at that occasion. Lyrics Light and darkness, you will find me all of my ways, all of your days. Joy and sadness, you have held me safe in your heart right from the start. And as the years pass by and go our vows turn into gold. We have journied on a promise far beyond fear, leading us here. Like that promise, all our children gathering near, smiling so clear. We raise a glass to new and old and vows turned into gold. Love and cherish, never perish long as I live always to give. Unforsaken, blessing taken. I love you still, I did and I will. And one enchanted eve foretold our vows turn into gold.
