	Story Behind the Song I wrote this about Eva, a friend I made while attending a writing workshop in Italy. It evokes her journey towards healing after a traumatic accident and my journey towards reawakening my creative power. Lyrics Running down the Rubber Road, through the town I go. Searching for the way to Rome in the darkness all alone. Where is the reason and where is the light? Where is the memory of that ancient flight? Falling down the Rubber Road, lost my way and there I go. Watched my body turning slow heard the cry from long ago. I could be living and I may be dead. I could be fleeing from the shame and dread. No... Each day I find there is no time Just where I've been and who I am. You may be kind. You may be blind as me. Going down the Rubber Road with all the friends and ghosts I know.
