    Story Behind the Song
In an attempt to create a peaceful existence among groups of people.
The lyrics promote working out problems without violence.
It took Char-Rock one week to write, one day to record,in about twenty takes.
There is a remix version in the works that Char-Rock promises is going to hurt you.

    Lyrics
Take a look at this nation
There is no other way to copycat its creation.
    You better straighten your face.
Before you wake-up some (morn) an find your ass been misplaced.
    Cause power has no friends.
It will pat you on the back and catch a ride with the next wind.
And you can cry all night
But you would kiss it once again if it said that it was allright.
It takes us back to the hood.
Just to glaze up all the things in our dreams that it said it would.
It knows you won't do right.
We got our minds on our money and our hands holding real tight.
    The bottom line is this.
If we don't help each other love and peace we'll forever miss.
And you can take it to the bank.
That history will say that it's the reason that the sucker sank.

    I love you
Never meant to be that way.
    And I love you too.
But I never ever mean't for it to be that way.
This is my Rapsody...............This is my Rapsody.

I know you came up the hard way.
Ever take note that's what a billion mutha-suckers say.
    And it don't mean grit.
What you gonna do with what you're chewing an you can't spit.
You better swallow like a bum.
You gulp it down whole to make sure you get every crumb.
And then you do what you're told.
Since you can still lose it then you better not be bold.
Ask any fool on the spot.
Can you see the thin line between the haves an the have-not?
And they will look you in the eye.
And say on either side that there are things that make you want to die.
If we could only join hands.
Create a project for our children so that all of them can understand.
Then we can fight that power.
That's got us hating and killing each other each hour.
This is my Rapsody.................This is my Rapsody..........
