	Story Behind the Song Karystos is an ancient town on the southern most tip of the Greek Isle of Evia. My grandfather fell in love withits stark beauty and bought some land on the sea. He started building a house there but passed away before it was finished. My mother, sister and I completed the house years later. It is the most beautiful and peaceful place I know. Two years ago a brush fire burned the house to the ground. Today we are rebuilding it out of stone.
