When I was a child, we had a visiting minister from India at our church named Reverend James. Our family became quite fond of the fellow and my aunt and uncle decided to have him baptize my cousin who was by that time already two or three years old. Being as old as she was, she was aware of what was happening to her, but not necessarily of the significance. After the service, she ran around singing the words "Reverend James Wet My Hair". Why I thought of that so many years later and decided to make a song out of it is unclear to me...but here it is. This is the first time my voice has appeared on a recording in about seven years. | MP3.com CD: TechnoJazz (Volume 1) - buy it!
