    Story Behind the Song
A few years ago I was going through some sad trials in life (alot of bad luck) and I came up with this tune. I'm not mad at the world, but the words definitely describe our society today.

    Lyrics
You just opened your eyes yesterday
And now you've got every answer
It does'nt really matter what you say
You're just a mindless little dancer

    refrain:
    And in the big game
    Everybody's on the run
They're just starin' straight at the sun
And they're goin blind (you see)
    One by one

You think you've got it all figured out
You're ready to jump in and save the day
You'd better watch your back & stay up with the crowd
'Cause no one really cares anyway

    refrain:

It's a different set of rules today
Better check your handbook of life again
    Now competition sets the way
It's fast pace and bottom line, we all just pretend

    refrain:

They look for blood and broken hearts
Nobody wants you to come out and play
The weeds in the field (of life) have grown over all the carts
And the cage that surrounds you every day

    refrain: twice
