	Story Behind the Song This is one that Brian had shown Tim during the first few months the band had been together. The guitar parts were all there, but there was no lyrics so the two of them got together and wrote Fade Away. The lyrics are yet another reflection of one of Tim's past relationships, when he wasn't feeling quite as happy. The song is about a guy asking for help from anyone, but nobody listens. In the end, his girlfriend or wife, however you interpret it, finds him lying on the floor dead. Kind of a sad story, but it isn't meant to be taken literally, just a song. Hope you enjoy.
