	Story Behind the Song Written in an unusual obsessive rant. For a woman who I stayed in contact with closely and intimately for more than 15 years through letters. We fell in something resembling love without any physical contact, merely through lenghty and very descriptive words. I nicknamed her "99" (long story). Don't know at what point we came to our senses, but we did. This song, which I recorded on a small 4track tape machine and mailed to her on a cassette, helped to intensify whatever effect we created. Here's to you "99". We write each other still to this day.
