	Scene XII (Jn.19:25-27): The Messiah is on the cross at Calvary, hanging between two thieves. His mother, Mary, accompanied by his disciple, John, pays him one last visit. Mary cannot stand to see her son going through such suffering. She knows there is nothing she can do, so she to convince the Messiah, her son, there is somehting he can do (to save himself). As one of the thieves askes for salvation, the Messiah explains, he must do his fathers will. They all sing their hears out during this tearful scene. 	Story Behind the Song It was time to end this musical. My first thought was to make this the last song, as the Messiah is being crucified. I changed my mind. However, I wanted to write a tear-jerking ballad for this scene. I hope I succeeded.
