	Story Behind the Song Two By Two is an allegorical song - a contemporary social commentary based on the familiar story of Noah's ark. It is written from the perpective of those who have come to believe the truth... too late. A song of lament, probably the strongest single illustration would be of someone floating in the rising water watching the ark float away with the few who remained faithful and believed God's warnings. According to Biblical principle, we bring destruction upon ourselves through our prideful, careless abuse of one another, ignorance of what is true, and lack of faith.
