A dream-like, etherial 3:4 melody with lyrics accounting the Epiphany of the Apostle Thomas in his first encounter with Jesus after crucifixion. Done as a duet with Sharon taking mostly the low harmonies, underscored with a unique piano - oboe "New Age" accompaniment. Unshakably haunting refrain! | MP3.com CD: The Gift Of A Thankful Heart - buy it!

Story Behind the Song
Bar's cryptic recounting of the Epiphany of the Apostle, Thomas, who saw Jesus risen, yet could not accept the truth of it. Doug and Sharon perform this unforgettable melody as a perfectly matched duet, building each line slowly to a restrained crescendo, then fading out of range. Sharon's low harmonies resonate so richly underneathe Doug's leads.
Lyrics
NO MORE SHALL I WEEP
"On the day I found my Lord, life transformed brand new--
Earth and sky around me seemed a grander hue!
He was by the Olive tree...T'was a clear surprise!
I could not...quite believe...'til He pierced my eyes!
No more shall I weep...nor fret or be forlorn--
His promise mine to keep...I am reborn!
SECOND VERSE
Now I wear my soul outside! I will share His love!
While I strive, He will guide me to rise beyond!
I'm now filled by Him in life, as were I His glove!
His true will was the knife that cut through my bonds!
Now praise God, I'm free of stones laid on my heart!
He parted curtains dark that shrouded me!
(FULL VERSE BRIDGE, THEN THIRD VERSE)
Now I go to make a place, up His heav'nly stair!
Do not look where I've been, you'll not find me there!
Though I climb each step in pain, I'll find ecstacy--
When I join Him again by that Olive tree!
No more shall I weep, nor earthly woes concern--
His Kingdom all I seek...I shall return!
(BRIDGE)...On the day I found my Lord...."(FADE AWAY)
