	Story Behind the Song Mike: "I think I've always wanted to write a song about a woman who moves up the ladder by getting banged at work. It just seemed so sweet. In retrospect, I would have given it a different name, because my friend Candy thought it was about her. A better title might have been LUKE SLIPS OUT." Lyrics Candy slips out of her supervisor's office, And steps quietly back to her Previously-owned, particle board workstation, Where once again she is hypnotized by the Ubiquitous hum of the fluorescent tubes Flickering overhead. And as she touches up the final draft of a Taco salad recipe she promised Lori in Accounts payable two months ago, She gently sniffs the Wite-Out that she Carelessly dribbled across the Back of her hand.
