	This is the studio version of the song that has appeared here in a live setting for quite some time. Again, this is the first song I actually wrote on piano and it is one of my personal favorite.

	Story Behind the Song This is the first song that I wrote on piano and it's about the demise of a relationship that I was involved in 1995 - 1996 when the lyrics were written. It didn't turn out the way I thought it was going to but I think this is one of my favorite songs of mine. It's just simple. Lyrics I'm writing myself a letter. One I hope I never forget I'm writing myself a letter. I know I'll always need it. But there's a story to this letter and the in the plot I play the fool. And everytime things start looking better, I drown inside the darkest pool. Chorus It's hard to look ahead when all I see is behind. And in the future when I'm dead will I realize that you're not mine. Took a lot for me to stand. In fact every good bit. To watch and demand that we finally call it quits. Doesn't matter what's been done, if anything at all. 'Cause deeper than my lungs hides decent into the fall. Repeat Chorus
