Story Behind the Song
The days grow short as Winter sets. Barren trees sheen with the oranges and purples of the setting sun. The wind roars menacingly, and a twig yields under the threat, eventually resting on an artificial landscape below.
A lone girl discovers this twig and with it a dream of the future. These remnants of destruction in her mind are a musician's tools. The trees morph into performers and an audience. They need no orchestration. The music is both unity and diversity. A dazzling concert of surreal color.
How this song was made: The entire song was sequenced by hand. Special thanks to Josh K. and Mario C. for the use of their ears and for their invaluable help fine-tuning the bass and drum parts.
