	Story Behind the Song The music was begun about three years ago, but I abandoned it until recently when I felt inspired to complete it. The lyrics are about living through very hard times and the courage and conviction I gained afterward that I wasn't going to let anything stop me from doing what I wanted. Lyrics I didn't want to get the news, I just got it. It came to me no matter how much I fought it. Well it kicked its' way in. It knocked me down. It left me convulsing there on the ground 'till I could've sworn it took the life from me. But I'm still here. I'm still breathing. I'm alive and I'm seething. I'm still breathing. I couldn't think of what to do, I just did it. I didn't want the world to know, so I hid it. Well, I wanted to find another way. I even went down on my knees to pray that God would would take my life away from me. But I'm still here. I'm still breathing. I'm alive and I'm seething. I'm still breathing. Then I ask myself, "Who the hell are you?" Then I ask myself, "Is that all you can do?" Whoa! I didn't guess my way around or feel through it, but now that I'm on common ground I'll just do it. Well, I've bottomed out and I'm hating life but I won't jump on the serrated knife 'cause I know one thing cannot be taken from me. I'm still here. I'm still breathing. I'm alive and I'm seething.
