	Story Behind the Song This song is one of my favorites because it was written true to form. The words reflect the childhood memories and emotions that I am flooded with every time I travel back to my old homestead. "Just an old house... just boards, bricks & stone... but we knew Love lived there.. .to us it was a Home." Many people relate to this song. I received a letter from one couple who used it as their wedding song because it moved the groom to tears the first time he heard it! It's very rewarding to a songwriter when a tune evokes such an emotional response.
