	Story Behind the Song It's hard to say. The lyrics were written (as were the majority of my lyrics) in the early 1980s, probably while I was taking Music Classes at Tacoma Community College. Obviously, I was having a downer day of some kind, and the lyrics, themselves, might well have been, at least in a general sense a reflection of that. Most of my Lyrics are written within a day or two (although they may be modified at a later date. One-noting the melody on a piano typically takes a week or too, and transferring the melody to a computer takes, at least as long. Filling out the voicings and the instrumentation may take months and continues until the song sounds right, This if I remember correctly, probably went very rapidly and was probably completed within a month, but it's gone through at least 3 versions, and each probably took equal time, because the problems relating to instrumentation and available tools differed in each case. As far as the final recording of this version, I would suspect that it took at least 20 or 30 attempts, spaced well apart so I could rest my tire voice, before I got a cut that I found, at least, marginally acceptable, for now. There may be newer versions at a later date, particularly if I can ever find a compatible vocalist to sing the song, but for now, this is it. Lyrics Paranoid's Lament They're out to get me.
