	Story Behind the Song This was one of the fist songs to come to complete production. It was written while living in Charleston, SC, a place with constant rain and weather, and for me, regular lonliness and troubles dating. In it's most extreme moment, I'm watching my lover crying while depply asleep, tossing and turning, as I watch with empathy; wondering it it's me the tears are shed for. I originally produced the song while resding in Phoenix, AZ as a demo, but it the production was greatly influenced by Country sounds including a slide guitar. I later reproduced to the current arrangement under the direction of Dan Geary once again, who breathed the most accurate style into this movie soundtrack quality track. This recording is especially unique as we began the production with me on piano and no click track. So the meter of the song fluctuates with emotion. The serendipity that unfolded througout the reocrding process was unforgettable as I watched the drummer, bassist, anhd guitarists each lay down tracks to the piano track without a click track. Truly, this was a live and fluid recording that has already received more than ten years of recognition from friends, family, and listeners everywhere my life has taken me...[a song deserving of a movie soundtrack offer] Lyrics I hear the rain outside, I see the thunder in your eyes, I hear the rain outside calling my name...and I wonder if it's me you've been crying for in your sleep...
