This self-penned tune is from my CD "Tales From Hollywood". It's a fun song celebrating the effect movies have on our lives. Boney James plays some killer sax and Dan Siegel did the arrangement. Definitely on the smooth side of jazz! | MP3.com CD: THE SMOOTH SIDE - buy it! MP3.com CD: SMOOTH JAZZ GRAMMY AND LEGENDS - buy it!

Story Behind the Song
I wanted to write an accessible song for my CD,"Tales From Hollywood". I was finished recording the CD and I realized it was very dark and moody-- in keeping with my love of all things "film noir" but I wanted it to be
a little less "razor blade" time. So Lori Barth, my partner in lyrical crime, and I came up with this ode to the effect sitting in a darkened theatre and watching gigantic representations of our realities has on our life. It's actually a lot of fun and has a great arrangement!
