	Story Behind the Song This was the first solo song I ever put on tape... a simple bunch of random riffs and harmonics... I tried to take some of the peace and quiet up here on Big River at sunset and put it out there...I had just gotten out of a short term'confinement'and had a year of 'house arrest'...and in the early evening, i'd go fishin'...actually It was more a type of meditation, just a thinkin' and wonderin' kind of thing...I would come in from fishin' and sit on my deck and just play some simple licks ...and the ducks would follow me in and I'd give them some cracked corn...I noticed the sounds of the birds and crickets around me and thought, 'HHmmmmm...New Age Blues...hehehe.... I recorded it on a Tascam porto3 with one mic hanging out the window for the crickets and owl, and one mic on the Dobro and just played until the tape ran out...at the end my old Doberman, Thor, did one haunting howl and I faded out with a Robert Johnson lick from " if I had possession over Judgement Day...." and so it goes...............
