"Gadia" is always a big dance tune in concert. It begins with the Australian didgeridoo, then proceeds to add clapsticks, african drums, voice, chinese opera gongs and a tone flute. The latter two instruments always earn a "what is that?!"

Story Behind the Song
This is one of Didginus' big dance songs, always getting the crowd on their feet. The song was one of the first the band put together, and originally appeared on their debut disc, "Into the Soul." This is the new live version from "More Than Alive," recorded on June 19, 1998, at the Boulder Theater in Boulder, Colorado, as part of Didginus' concert at the 2nd Annual Boulder Didjeridu Solstice Celebration.
The name comes from who we are and what we do with our music. "Gadia" is a Northwestern Australian Aboriginal word for "Whitefella," often used as derogatory. But, it's who we are, and we want to have a worldwide party with all these instruments we use.
