	Story Behind the Song I actually wrote this song as a demo for a female friend of mine who was trying to break into the business. She never used it so I decided to put it on my first CD, "Waiting For The Fire". It has always been a favorite of mine and very well received, so I decided to record this "unplugged" version for this CD Lyrics Young Hearts You said you'd love me, that I would have a brand new start. You said you'd take me, that you would mend my broken heart. And you only say what's on your mind And what's in your heart gets left behind. You said you'd take me. That I would never feel the pain. You said you'd help me. Show me that some things never change. But it's not like it was before. These day's I'm missing more and more. Tell me where have all the young hearts gone? It was long away, where are we today...two hearts...cold and shattered. And you said you'd help me, that you would stay here by my side. You said you'd love me. I would no longer have to hide.
