Story Behind the Song
Nightmare is one of my newest songs. Like the rest of them, it was named after it was finished. I like to let my songs take shape and come to life before giving them names. Plus, it always takes me a damn long time to think of something. This song seems to represent someone falling calmly asleep. Then, just as they drift into a deep sleep, they become frantic, and frightened. Hence, the name Nightmare.
