	Story Behind the Song This song was written during a time of spontaneous worship at Christian Renewal Church of St. Simons Island in November of 1997. As I (Fred McKinnon) was leading worship, we began to just sing a "new song", and I began to sing the first two lines "Who is like our God" . . .and eventually, the rest of the song came. . .we captured it on tape, and now this song is used in churches all over the world.
