	Story Behind the Song The song is the culmination of a desire to create a celebratory work for Gay choruses. This recording is of a performance by the Gulf Coast Men's Chorus (from Sarasota, Florida) at the GALA choral convention in San Jose California, July 2000. Lyrics (Abbreviated version as per the recorded performance) We may all come from different worlds and lead quite different lives; We may all have quite different ways that each of us survives; But here we join together united as a choir To raise our voice in harmony and sing to you a melody That brings to you a message that's inspiring: It's OK to be 'G'-'A'-'Y'; it's OK to be Gay. We have come to sing and to spread the word Everywhere we can make our voices heard That we are totally just the same as other people may be. So to all who find it beyond their ken We'll tell them once and then tell again: We think it's perfectly natural that we like men!
