	PURGE is about the personal anguish of the stagnant life we are meant to lead as human beings in "civilization." It is the human spirit crying out of the rejection... the desire to destroy what destroys you. This version of "Purge" is the original recording made in December 1991. "Purge" lived somewhat of a dual life after this recording. Newt moved to Mississippi soon after this version was recorded, but Pissed continued to play the song until their demise in 1993. After moving down South, Newt began transforming "Purge" into the punk metal epic it is known today. The definitive version of "Purge" was recorded in 1998 by THE COOTERS.
