	Story Behind the Song "Following my reading of the book 'Siddhartha' by Hermann Hesse, I was reinspired to explore the different frontiers in our lives, to perhpaps touch the parallel realities that are running loose around us. It is really a song about peace and of hope. A hope that one day everyone will understand one another and a new sun will rise, a sun we've never seen or felt before. The words 'the alchemy' are referencing to that rise and that is partially why the title 'splendor solis' is existant in the song. For the musical part of the song I was inspired by Riad el Soumbati's rendition of Roubaiyat el Khayam with only the oud and voice, in contrast to the more popular renditions which are mostly based on orchestration and voice." - Dmitri Marine.
