    Story Behind the Song
I was just thinking about the hype about the Millenium, the computer disaster that never happened, and the way that human beings look upon this sort of thing with fascination and dread. I knew several people who honestly believed that the world was going to end by the year 2000. Why were there all those suicide cults that seemed to proliferate in the last few years of the 1990s?

    Lyrics
    It's the Y2K

Some of them say world war gonna come
Some of them say world peace gonna come
Some of them say Jesus Christ gonna come
Some of them say Antichrist gonna come

Mark of the beast is on their foreheads
Mark of the beast is in the palm of their hands
Mark of the beast is on the internet
Mark of the beast is in the ATM

Some of them say it's the Millenium
Some of them say it's the Armegiddeon
Some of them say it's a time to see
Some of them say it's all right with me

2000 years is gonna give us all the chills
Some will take a gun and run out for the hills
Little Bo Peep has lost her sheep
They go to outer space for eternal sleep

Wallace: vocals, guitar, tambora. Dan: bass. Kirk: drums. Ray: guirro
