About the Baha'i concept of peace. World peace is not only possible, it is an inevitable result of God's plan for the human race. We still have not completed the maturation process, however. There are signs that we are progressing, although we obviously have a long way to go. | MP3.com CD: Baha'i Reggae And World Beat - buy it!

Story Behind the Song
I wrote this in 1984 or so, although it was never performed in public until 2000. This arrangment is influenced by Jimmy Cliff and Desmond Dekker recordings produced by the late Leslie Kong.
Lyrics
There will be world peace
When we find a way for all selfishness to cease
How can there be a cause
Until we find a way to adherance to the law
I know it seems hopeless
But we can make it work
And we'll all see the light in the morning
The Most Great Peace will come
But we can't ignore all the warnings
Darkness has fallen on every land
But there is no need to fear
These are words spoken by the One who knows
The One who sees, the One who is always near
"This fruitless strife, these ruinous wars, shall pass away
"The Most Great Peace will come."
These are words spoken by the Most Blessed
and Promised Manifestation
Salaam aleykum
Wa alekum salaam
(Peace be upon you, and upon you be peace)
Wallace: vocals, guitar, mandolin, harmonium.
Dan: bass. Kirk: drums. Ray: Vibraslap.
