	Story Behind the Song A song about losing what is important to you. I'd lost my faith and trust in a lot of things when this song was started. I stopped working on it for a while and when I came back to it, I had a different story to tell. There's an odd combination of hope and fear in this song. Lyrics There is a stream of conscience rant moving throughout the whole song. I never wrote down what I said though it's obvious as to some of what I'm saying. However, the main vocal parts are as follows: When the waves roll over me And my mind falls beneath the sea, I can feel a hand upon my palm And a kiss upon my cheek. When my eyes close I can truly see. With voices flooding my ears, I still hear her, beneath Everything, she's all I feel. When I part the surface So my mind might breathe, The warmth of the sun Bathes me in her heat. When I lift my eyes To stare into the light, A smile parts my lips And I rise to join her in my life. Over the sea We watch the waves roll by. Over the sea I know nothing matters to her But me.
