	Story Behind the Song For a long time, Meretrix was known for a certain variety of song - affectionately dubbed the "You Bitch, You Ruined My Life" song (of which "No Truth In Beauty," also on mp3.com, is another example). This song is the epitome of this era of Meretrix - it was originally recorded for 1999's "Ecstasy" album, and was completely re-done for "Poor Impulse Control." As far as the music goes, this song was heavily influenced by the layered sound of Curve and the... noise... of several European noise acts, most notably Imminent Starvation. This is the last track on "Poor Impulse Control." It always worked so well for ending live sets that it seemed an obvious choice for the end of the album.
