	Story Behind the Song The vocal version is about the feeling of Insecurity and searching for security. Musically it plays out like a chase theme. The Basics were written by Ruston Slager, Wedge helped with the lyrics and Ronnie Montrose topped it off with magnificent guitar work. The song took a few weeks to put together but Ronnie did his part in a couple of hours. The man is a pro.
