	Story Behind the Song I wrote this song because I have been hurt by heroes in the past, having put my trust in people who were imperfect rather than the perfect God who they claimed to serve. I guess this is also an admonition to all who take on positions of leadership or mentorship, to not take lightly the responsibility they assume in doing so. To those who watch you, you are in the most literal sense imaginable, the image of God.
