	Story Behind the Song This song was a real turning point for me. It started out as "I've got a Pennsylvania mind and a mississippi heart"...and it was going to be about how I often feel pulled in different-conflicting directions. And maybe the song is still about that....but what happened is that somehow I wrote a damn country song! I didn't mean to, honest! And I really didn't care much for Country music...but it just came out that way. I like some of the images in the song and the fact that it mentions both Elvis and Johnny Cash. It came together pretty quick for me, and it's still one of the ones I like best. It runs like a freight train too.... Lyrics I.
