	Story Behind the Song Written a with a quick batch of songs somewhere in 1999, Pop Star quickly became a band favorite and set opener that year and most of the next. We also choose it to be the lead track on our self-released EP Art Rock and the X-Ray Style, which was recorded at KVSC Studios in St. Cloud, MN, from December 1999 to February 2000.
