Story Behind the Song
Running Deer and Whispering Elk were walking thru the woods. They could feel the dew drops on their bare feet in the grass.
The sun was shining Beams of Light, from the West, thru the tall redwoods. Illuminating
a circle where a elder Native American Indian woman was sitting on the North side. A chief is standing at the East Side. He is wearing 3 feathers in his hair. They are covered with coral and lapis beads.
The chief tells Running Deer that everything will be fine, and the elder woman will have Whispering Elk explain everything that happened. They leave the circle going south along the edge of a stream. This is where Whispering Elk kneels on a rock and looks at her reflection in the water. Running Deer is standing behind her his arms outstretched the wind is blowinging the fringe on his leather jacket. Whispering Elk then explains that what took place in the circle was joining ceramony reuniting two soulmates.
