    Story Behind the Song
This piece acts an overture to introduce you then into my next projects to come with -- i noticed that Rhythmic As Melodious is really living up to it's title, cos it's so very rhythmic, energetic and playful -- and the intricate melodies so very rhythmic and varied also. Special thanks to Kerri for recording this piece at our jam session. Life's Loom is a nice reflective piece -- wraps up the Melodious project very well. I was in a very easy going mood improvising this piece, Kerri wanted to just record the koto itself, as we were going to do a couple to see which one of the solo koto impromptues would work best with her compilation -- but this one just happened to do it for us so there was no need to do more. I like it when i can just improvise the first time around and it just turns out -- it's great that way! Especially when i didn't really feel the piece really did anything for me -- this piece took a while to sink in i guess you can say. LOL -- So this was one of those pieces.
