	A mid-tempo track that has become something of a subculture anthem. It certainly applies to almost anyone, as we all at some time have been misunderstood, bothered, or just wanted to be left alone. However, punks, ravers, goths, rivetheads, and anyone who has opted to swim against the mainstream will find that the lyrics strike quite a chord with them in particular.

	Story Behind the Song "Leave Me Alone" first appeared in its current form on "Until The Voices Fade," a limited edition EP released in April 1999, which quickly sold out and is now a collector's item. Shortly after the horrible tragedy that took place in Littleton, Colorado, a CD-R showed up at our office simply labeled "Shaft 20/20 Edit." On the disc was "Leave Me Alone," edited to include what appear to be samples taken from news reports that aired following the shooting. The samples are *not* about the tragedy and do *not* attempt to make light of or capitalize on the shootings; rather, the samples taken are from various newscasters attempting to link the goth community with the tragedy, and villify goths as terrible and dangerous people. A few DJs received copies of this Edit of the track, but it has never been made available to the public. The person responsible for creating this Edit is welcome to contact us for full and proper credit.
