	this stately piece for harpsichord looks back to the Baroque only to find itself in a simple 21st century loop.

	Story Behind the Song In this piece I refer very clearly to the Baroque, though within a minimalist framework. It was composed in October 2000 while I was working as a student teacher. Originally composed on paper, I then programmed it into the Roland XP-80. During this process I made a mistake which created an interesting effect and shot it, stylistically speaking into the 21st century. That mistake was the final section where the barline seems to change, resulting in a shift of accent and meter.
