Story Behind the Song
It was a late night in the studio. Rain was softly falling. I could think of nothing but maldorora, asleep in her bed. The pizzicato track came first, spontaneously and without thought. The other two tracks quickly followed. The instruments seemed to sigh and sing softly, as if they could play themselves and were only humoring me by letting me hold them. I rushed home to my queen bearing a new gift...
