	Story Behind the Song This is the first song of our new album "Sky Treasure" release date December 3rd. 2000 This is a new composition dedicated to Tibet and His Holiness the Dalai Lama, for his spiritual leadership in the world. Lu a typical singing style from eastern Tibet, Kham, where my father was born. Lu's are usually sung outdoors, in an octave or more higher than normal, so the voice travels through the mountains and awakes the spirits of the mountain gods. In general Lu means song in Tibetan language and is a generic word known through out Tibet but in Kham it refers to this special singing. Both male and female sings them and there are various kinds of Lus. The Sky Treasure is a collaborative work with Kit Walker and Jeoffry Gordon. This album took us about four years.
