Story Behind the Song
It was a new song we were learning..about a love interest of Derek's. It was a rough practice, but it was fair. Anyway.. Derek's dad walked in and left.. and Derek just snapped about the whole girl shit .. he kicked over his amp.. Took off his guitar, and like an axe, smashed it against the ground. Busting it. So, he basically "Lost his mind".
