This is the live performance of this song at the Northern California Kosovo Relief Festival on May 15, 1999. This is an anthem dedicated to the people of Kosovo who have lost their homes and their lives.

    Story Behind the Song
This song was written for the Northern California
Kosovo Relief Festival held May 15, 1999 at
Canada College in Redwood City, California.
All proceeds are donated to the Red Cross.
I was riding home on the train from San
Francisco and it hit me that these people have
no where to call Home Sweet Home.

Thanks to Gary and Brian for accompanying us
on the drums and bass in this live performance.

    Lyrics
    Shooting bullets, Dropping bombs
Falling down on, their front lawns
Doesn't matter, cause to NATO they're just pawns

You can't just leave them there alone
    Under crumbling stone
    Disconnected phone

'Cause They've got no sweet home
'Cause They've got no sweet home

We once had Germans, Killing Jews
Now Serbian butchers fill the news
Kosovars are not the only ones who lose

    The Serbs presume their race
    Means they hold every ace
Someday they will face - An angry God's embrace

'Cause They've got no sweet home
'Cause They've got no sweet home

What do you tell the man who cannot find his wife?
What can you do to help rebuild his life?

Think it about it at night when you retire
What if it was your home that's on fire

When will we stop, All this killing
There is enough, If we were willing
To see that no blood, ever is worth spilling

We won't face the world alone
    Or live with the unknown
    If tyrants we'd dethrone

There'd be no more no sweet home
There'd be no more no sweet home

    No more war
