    Story Behind the Song
This was my first experiment in home recording. It took me 3 days cause of all the mistakes I made as I was learning how to use the Yamaha Minidisc-8 that I borrowed from a friend. The time was worth it- this is like nothing I've produced before. I played both guitars, both keyboards, the djembe, both vocals, and a percussion effect: my breath patched through my guitar pedal. This song is part of the story of Peter, Jacob, and Mary, speaking of the time of their lives when things begin to catch up with them. This was a fun song to record.

    Lyrics
    Chalk up another
one for the team of three
    Me, myself, and
    I've got a problem
Just another chink in the armor of life
    Pack my bags up
    My sorrow's so thick
The hate here on every face
    is making me sick
It's time to hit the road
It's time to grab a hold

    I'm telling you
    I think we've a problem
    If you think we don't
    just let me continue

You think you're above it all
    Impervious to a fall
    So tell me a lie
    Cause It's only a crime
    If you're caught

When I wake up I'll be younger now
    Does that make sence?
    I don't think so
    But that's ok,
    cause I've stopped trying
    to impress you anyway
    When midnight rolls around
    You always seem to
    Change your tone
    To fit those feelings
    That always seem to change

    I'm telling you
    I think we've a problem
    If you think we don't
    Just let me continue
    The glitter on your face
    only covers the truth
    And finally you've embraced
    an opposing view

You think you're above it all
    Impervious to a fall
    So tell me a lie
    Cause it's only a crime
    If you're caught

I'm hating theses actors and actresses
    I'm hitting the road
    I'm hitting the mattresses
It's time to dress for war
