An upbeat power pop tune about a one sided relationship, and all the baggage that goes into it. A bit of a Who influence here.

    Story Behind the Song
Paul wrote most of the lyrics, and passed them on to Jana. She wrote a some more lyrics, and then wrote the music with Micky. Dave later added the funky middle section.
This was a good strong collaboration between most of the band memebers.

    Lyrics
    You're so like a book
    I can read your mind
But I won't take the bait
I've learned my lesson just fine

    My eyes have dried clear
The wheels of night have rolled on
I see the lines of the highway
    We once travelled along

    After all the love
That was lost in the wind,
    How can you suppose
I could lose my heart again?

    I recall a time
When I clung to your hand
But the line you were leading
    Wasn't what I had planned

    Another part of the tune
    Another part of the dance
Now you're wanting to lead once more
But I won't take that chance

    Remembering roses
    That you forgot to send,
    How can you suppose
That I could lose my heart again?

    I'm standing lost
    Between night and day
Now you're wanting to leave once more
But I want you to stay

    Another part of the tune
    Another part of the dance
Now you're wanting to lead once more
But I won't take that chance

    After all the love
That was lost in the wind,
    How can you suppose
That I could lose my heart again?
