Began by fooling around with minor G blues chords. Lyrics can credit the influnce of having recently picked up Boz Scaggs' first album off of eBay. One of the standout tracks was "Loan me a Dime," which included some standout session work by Duane Allman. While any comparison ends there, the phrase, "been gone for a long time...down to my last dime," got the lyrics rolling. |

Lyrics
I been gone, for a long time.
I am down, to my last dime.
And I'm missin' you...So far away.
I'll be sittin' in this station till the break of day.
You said, it wasn't me.
You claimed, I couldn't see.
But what you mean...Is not what you say.
I'll be sittin' in this station till the break of day.
I am sure, I'll get it right.
I'm gonna make it, through the night.
You can't take away, from me.
Who I'm gonna be
I have, to do my thing.
You had, to have your fling.
For what we do, there's a price to pay.
I'll be sittin' in this station till the break of day.
I'll be sittin' in this station till the break of day.
I'll be sittin' in this station till the break of day.
